Testimonies

Before I found Jesus, I was lost and hopeless, and I had no purpose or direction in life. I was consumed by my addiction and it controlled every aspect of my life.
But then, one day, I heard the good news of Jesus Christ, and I was filled with a newfound hope and purpose. I realized that I was not alone in my struggle, and that there was a way out of my addiction through the love and grace of our Lord.
One of the verses that gave me hope during this time was from 2 Corinthians 5:17, which says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” This verse spoke to me because it showed me that through Jesus, I could become a new person, free from my addiction and past mistakes.
Another verse that helped me during this time was from Philippians 4:13, which says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” This verse reminded me that with Jesus by my side, I could overcome any obstacle or temptation that came my way.
As I continued to seek the Lord and follow His word, I began to experience true freedom from my addiction. Through prayer, fellowship with other believers, and the power of the Holy Spirit, I was able to break free from the chains of addiction and experience a new life in Christ.
Today, I am a new creation in Christ, and I am grateful for the love and grace that He has shown me. I pray that my testimony can be an encouragement to others who may be struggling with addiction, and that they too can find hope and freedom through Jesus Christ.
May the Lord bless you all.
